About Us

The Child Development Centre of Oakville is a private speech and language therapy clinic serving children aged 0-18. We have been providing speech and language services in Oakville since 1996. Our staff includes dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) who are committed to providing family-centered, individualized, and evidence-based services to your family. We are dedicated to supporting your child's achievement of functional communication goals.

Some children may be late to start talking, use fewer words than their peers, be hard to understand, have difficulty using correct grammar or have difficulty following instructions. School-aged children may have difficulty learning to read and spell or with the social aspects of communication. Other children may stutter. Communication difficulties can also be associated with other conditions such as autism or developmental delays. If you are concerned about your child's speech and language development, we are here to help!
